“Jean-David offered me the eponymous book by Madeline Miller. I wanted to capture the sensuality of the text, the "sense of words" that emanate throughout the pages. I envisioned a chameleon-like orange blossom on a bed of musks, alternately virginal and warrior-like, capturing all its nuances and complexity. I decided to pair it with the immortelle flower, with its characteristic warm and salty accents, a nod to the Mediterranean and a playful reference to the vulnerability of Achilles' heel.
