In Greek mythology, Morpheus, the son of Sleep and Night, is the deity of dreams. Thus, I envisioned a dreamed, fantasized, idealized iris, with all its facets pushed to the extreme: the powdery, enveloping, and comforting facets are accentuated by violet and vanilla almondy notes of tonka bean and heliotrope; the naturally green, vegetal, and crisp facets are intensified by violet leaf and hazel, and the woody, rooty, and earthy facets are reinforced by cashmeran and touches of vetiver.”
